Copper - unisex fragrance
Copper by Comme des Garcons is a new oriental fragrance for women and men launched in fall 2019. Creative director Christian Astuguevieille and perfumer Alienor Massenet crafted this "warm tobacco-rich scent" with top notes of blackcurrant, pink pepper, and galbanum blended into a heart of metallic notes, ginger, tobacco leaf, and violet leaf resting on a base of vanilla, amber, and myrrh. This "fiery red metal, yet cool to the touch" perfume is housed in the classic Comme des Garçons pebble series bottle in an opaque copper color.
Comme des Garcons Copper is available in an eau de parfum spray, $165 for 3.4 oz.

Fiery red metal, cool to the touch. Luminous berries atop darkened leaves. COPPER is an olfactive interrogation of perceived differences and their harmonious alignment. A blend of distinct olfactive components: vivid pinks positioned against deep greens. Bright contrasts reveal new clarity. Ingredients found across the globe find unity in a single scent. Fresh galbanum harvested atop the Iranian mountains; luminous peppercorns picked in Peru; rhizomes of spicy Madagascan ginger distilled into oil. Chemically synthesized metals underscore natural notes. Artificial amber, natural vanilla and Ethiopian myrrh engrave sensuality beneath. Like rust corroding a golden sheen, with time COPPER evolves on the skin.
