Costume National Pop Collection Perfume

Costume National Pop Collection - eau de parfum for women

Pop Collection by Costume National - "The eau de parfum is pop-chic dressed. Just like in the Woman Fashion Collection, the bottle is painted turquoise, orange, red and blue. The colour is hidden by a soft touch white box, on which four embossed squares foreshadow the surprise on the inside: you never know what colour is waiting for you, you will find it out just when you open the box! You cannot help looking for the next colour and recreate your own collection!" --costumenational.com

POP COLLECTION - A Pop and Chic Fragrance
"The inspiration for this collection comes from the work I did a few months ago for the band OK GO!. Four sartorial outfits, each of them in a different primary color, creating a look that is minimal and pop at the same time. They were very successful and I found them exciting. This collection is pop chic: my shapes and fabrics are presented in very unexpected chromatisms, separated in blocks of strong colored outfits. More than ever this season has a sartorial feel, while remaining cool." -- Ennio Capasa

The Fragrance
Sparkling notes of pink grapefruit and bittersweet raspberry pulp mingle with blackcurrant absolute to make a joyful and energizing start. A floral heart of rose and jasmin makes the scene with grace and charme and discloses a strong, extremely feminine character. Patchouli heart, ambre gris and cashmeran wrap the bouquet with warmth, mistery and depth, revealing a sensual intensity. A timeless, minimal and refined fragrance, where sophistication and simplicity, peculiarity and intimacy strike a perfect balance: it's pop and chic!

While creating this fragrance, Ennio Capasa has worked with a master of excellence: Dominique Ropion. The outstanding quality of the ingredients, together with the extraordinary ability in bringing out the unusual features of traditional perfumery raw materials, have enabled Ropion to create a charming and familiar olfactory trail that plays with bright colours and lively nuances.

Scarlet Fever
It all began during fall Fashion Week, when makeup artists tossed the hue around like a hot potato. We especially adored Gucci Westman's idea to paint Oscar de la Renta models' cheeks a "burnt" shade to evoke the cold of the Siberian tundra -- "so you can really feel where the girl is," she explained. Later, during the resort collections, candy-apple lips and LRDs (that's Little Red Dresses) turned up everywhere, from established houses like Donna Karan to cool indie kids like Erdem. Flash-foward to the most recent runway moments, where we were treated to quite the rose-tinted spring preview: Backstage at Ann Sui, hyper-trendsetting makeup artist Pat McGrath swiped various shades of red on the girls' lids, cheeks, and lips, a la wild '70s model Donna Jordan, a beauty icon who excelled in -- what else? -- painting the town red.

Costume National PoP Collection Eau de Parfum, $110.
Harajuku Lovers Jingle G Eau de Toilette, $25.
Diptyque Candle in Perdigone, $68
