Homme by Dior is a new woody fragrance for men. Crafted by Dior in-house perfumer Francois Demachy, this reinvention of the original 2005 (reformulated in 2011) Dior Homme, is built around "the warmth of Atlas cedar" as it "embraces the ruggedness of Haitian vetiver." The intensely woody fresh masculine scent includes Atlas cedar on top, a heart of patchouli, and a base of vetiver. The original Homme perfume bottle is updated with a modern sleek design and features a more prominent label. Robert Pattinson and Lana Zakocela model for the "I'm Your Man" ad campaign. Available in an eau de toilette spray in early 2020.

ATLAS CEDAR - Atlas Cedar radiates a dry and subtly leathery warmth through the trail of Dior Homme. Combined with Vetiver, it commands a harmony of woods rich with tension and sensuality.
PATCHOULI HEART - Full of enveloping, the Patchouli heart ties the composition together, mingling with the virile woods to create a caressing sensuality.
VETIVER - Native to India and Indonesia, but also found in Haiti and on Reunion Island, Vetiver is a perennial plant with a fragrance root system. The essential oil is obtained by steam distillation. Allure: "What does the new Dior fragrance smell like? [Pattinson has been the face of Dior Homme fragrance since 2013.]
Robert Pattinson: "I hardly ever wear fragrances. If I wear a fragrance, I find it quite overbearing. But this one, for some reason, you don't really notice you're wearing it. I can never really describe it. People are like, 'Is it woody smelling?' But I don't really know what wood smells like. It definitely makes me feel more awake. There's something fresh about it."
Allure: What are the best and worst smells in the world to you?
R.P.: "Definitely the scent of when you're in love with someone, and the smell is incredible. It brings out an animal side of being human. ..."
