Crab Apple Blossom by Clive Christian is a new citrus aquatic fragrance. First created in 1886, this scent was inspired by the crab apple tree growing outside the Kensington home of the Crown Perfumery's founder. This modern reimaging "of a historical archive scent" includes the signature Crab Apple Blossom note, in a concentration of 25%, blended with a marine bergamot note on top. The heart of the fragrance includes green rhubarb and a "fresh mojito fusion" before the dry down finish of sensual sandalwood and aromatic driftwood. Launched in October 2020, this new addition to the Clive Christian Crown Collection, is an aromatic unisex scent available in a pure parfum spray.

Arguably one of the most famous of the Crown Perfumery Company's products this delicate perfume was first created in 1886. The original scent was inspired by the blossoming crab apple tree that grew outside the Crown Perfumery Company founder's home in Kensington, London and he was the first perfumer to capture this unique ingredient’s illusive scent. First launched in 1886 by 1894, over half a million bottles were sold annually. Today, new Crab Apple Blossom contains this signature spring flower in the top notes, used for the very first time in a Clive Christian fragrance. An exquisite ingredient which provides a mesmerising smell like a delicate kiss of spring.

TOP NOTES
Precious apple blossom is combined with sparkling marine bergamot, a reviving take on the bitter orange tree with just a hint of salty aquatic - a very rare ingredient in the world of perfumery. Together with bitter yuzu and cedarwood fusion, these delicate top notes provide an energizing and zest opening for a burst of freshness.

HEART NOTES
A fruity floral character is revealed in the heart offset against modern notes of sharp green rhubarb and a fresh mojito fusion, accompanied by delicate neroli and powerful floral notes of Osmanthus for a vibrant and invigorating heart.

BASE NOTES
A sophisticated but powerful base is enhanced by creamy sandalwood, a sumptuous ingredient used in many of the Clive Christian perfumes. Clive Christian only uses 50-year-old aged sandalwood, as part of our dedication to using the finest ingredients in the world. Enriched by salty and aromatic driftwood, the base of Crab Apple Blossom forms a fresh, energising citrusy yet soft scent.
